 Bus Service between Ramla & Lod Stations


Ramla Railway Station has been closed since 7th January 2011 and will remain so until the end of the year, for improvements including construction of a new platform, renovation of the old platform, laying out a new car park and erection of a new footbridge system for the benefit and safety of passengers. While the work is in progress a replacement (shuttle) bus service is provided by Israel Railways free of charge for railway passengers from Ramla to Lod Railway Station and back.
About the Service


The service operates on weekdays (Sun. – Thu.) during the morning and afternoon, and on Fridays throughout train operating hours. Buses provide a two-way shuttle service for passengers between Ramla Station (closed) and Lod Railway Station.

Picking up/Dropping off Points:
Ramla station - forecourt car park.
Lod Station - bus stop at roadside.

Buses bear a sign marked “בשירות הרכבת - On Railway Service”.
