50% discount for groups coordinating their journey in advance

Additional information and coordinating a journey

Groups of at least 20 people, who board together at the station of origin and alight together at the station of destination, enjoy a reduced rate and pay only 50% of the regular fare. 

This discount is only granted on intercity lines, on the days and at the hours specified as follows.

To enjoy this discount rate, the group must coordinate its journey 72 hours in advance, Sunday through Thursday between 09:00AM and 05:00 PM, not including Fridays, Saturdays, the eve of a holiday, holidays and intermediate holidays (i.e. chol hamoed Pesach).

Please note!
Upon concluding the process of coordination and examination in advance, you will receive a written authorization from Israel Railways granting the group a discount rate. This authorization must be presented at the ticket cashier when purchasing the group ticket.

To coordinate a group journey, please contact the Israel Train Marketing and Advertising Dept., Sunday – Thursday between 09:00AM and 05:00 PM, not including Fridays, Saturdays, the eve of a holiday, holidays and intermediate holidays (i.e. chol hamoed Pesach).

You can also send a Request form for coordinating a group journey by fax to: 03-6937437. Please designate a return fax number for receipt of the authorization.
