Free Replacement Bus Service between Ramla & Lod StationsRamla Railway Station has been closed since 7th January 2011 and will remain so until the end of the year, for improvements including construction of a new platform, renovation of the old platform, laying out a new car park and erection of a new footbridge system for the benefit and safety of passengers. While the work is in progress a replacement (shuttle) bus service is provided by Israel Railways free of charge for railway passengers from Ramla to Lod Railway Station and back.
