What is allowed to take aboard the train?Israel Railways know it is important that you can enjoy the ride in any way you consider, whether during the travel itself or afterwards. Therefore, we allow you to take aboard the train:

Laptops.
Prams.
Suitcases and bags of reasonable size.
Passengers can board the train with scooters on all days and during all hours of operation, according to the following conditions:
- In any car on the train: A scooter weighing up to 15 kg and up to 100 cm in length (including motorized) can be stored in any regular car when folded under the seats.
- In the bicycle car: A scooter of over 15 kg and / or non-folding scooters, as well as seated scooters, can be stored in the bicycle car.
Skateboard, roller blades (roller skatings) inside designated case.

Knives - Carrying on knife is conditional upon security approval of Israel Railways, carrying on chef knife is conditioned upon provision of certificate of study/chef.
It is your responsibility to make sure to place it [your baggage????] in the designated place and to not to block the aisle in the carriage or the entry/exit doors.

Do not leave equipment unattended on the train
Personal equipment that is found unattended in the aisles or passages in the carriages, or which may interfere with the transit of wheelchairs, are liable to be removed from the train (and if such is attached with a lock in the carriage, the lock will be broken) without prior warning and under the responsibility of its owner.
Take Note:
Bringing personal equipment or a pet to the train station and bringing such onto the train itself is always subject to safety considerations, and therefore there may be situations, especially during peak hours, during which such will not be permitted to be brought aboard the train.
The owner of personal equipment or a pet that might endanger the safety of other passengers, who will not obey the instructions of the Israel Railways representative or will disobey such instructions - will be removed from the train or from the train station and legal proceedings may be instituted against him.
