The Urban Carriage

As part of our efforts to improve the service and travel experience, we are currently launching a pilot for an “Urban Carriage”, to which we have added extra poles and overhead handles. 

Changing the structure of the carriage adds standing space and helps in dealing with the problem of overcrowding.
Take note! The urban carriage is designed for short trips. 

Important Information: 

  • Do not bring bicycles into the urban carriages. 
  • The service will operate on the Binyamina – Rehovot / Ashkelon line and the Be’er Sheva – Ra’anana line. 
  • The standing spaces are located on the lower levels of the carriages. 
  • Be sure to grasp the posts / handles, especially before the train stops.
  • The aisles should be left free of bags and suitcases.
