Closing for Service of the Be’er Sheva Center Station, June 11, 2022

Dear passengers,
As part of the annual maintenance plan, infrastructure works will be carried out for the maintenance, upgrade and replacement of the track at the Be’er Sheva Center station. Due to this, the Be’er Sheva Center station will be closed for service, from Saturday evening, June 11, 2022 at 22:00 until Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 5:00 AM.

  • Trains whose destination or origin is the Be’er Sheva Center station, will begin and end their journey at the Be'er Sheva North University station.
  • A free shuttle service will be operated between Be'er Sheva Center and Be'er Sheva North University stations.

Train traffic in the area will return to normal on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 5:00 AM.

In view of the entry into force of the "Derech Shava" reform, as of August 1, 2022, and the cancellation of the "Flexible 7" and "Flexible 30" periodic travel arrangements, the compensation arrangement for closing a section of track which was in effect until now is cancelled.
A new compensation arrangement is currently being formulated by the Ministry of Transportation and will be published soon. The new arrangement that will be published will apply retroactively as of August 1, 2022.
