Temporary Changes in Train Traffic Along the Sharon Ring Track

Dear passengers,
As part of the work being carried out for the construction of the light rail train system in the Gush Dan area and under the direction of the Ministry of Transport, NTA (Urban Transportation Lines) will carry out a large-scale operation, in which an underground light rail train crossing will be excavated, which crosses the section of track between the Tel Aviv - University station and the Bne Brak station.
For the purpose of the project and in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation and NTA, the tracks on which trains operate will be dismantled, and additional engineering adjustments will be made for the project.
In parallel and due to the required works carried out by NTA and the significance of the service derived from them, we will take advantage of the required cessation of train traffic to carry out maintenance and upgrade works at several points along the line, thus significantly reducing the inconvenience that was expected in the future.

Due to this and temporarily, from Sunday, October 3, 2021, until Tuesday, October 19, 2021 (inclusive), train traffic will be discontinued between the Tel Aviv - University and Raanana stations, and trains on the Be’er Sheva - Rishon LeTsion - Moshe Dayan – Hertsliya line, (The western Negev line and the Sharon Ring) will be operated between the Be’er Sheva and Tel Aviv - Savidor Center stations only.

  • Raanana, Hod HaSharon - Sokolov, Kfar Sava - Nordau, Rosh Ha’Ayin - North, Petah Tikva and Bne Brak stations will be temporarily closed for service during the operation.
  • During the work days, we will operate a free of charge shuttle system, which will be operated between the Rosh Ha’Ayin - North and Tel Aviv - Savidor Center stations, as well as between the Kfar Sava - Nordau and Tel Aviv - Savidor Center stations.
