Temporary Closure of the Track between Dimona Station and Be’er Sheva North/ University Station

​Due to Upgrading and Replacement of the Track.

The closure will take effect commencing between Thursday December 6, 2018 and Friday December 7, 2018 at 00:01 and will conclude on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 23:59.

Passenger ferrying services will be published at a later date. 


Compensation for the Closure
Passengers holding a periodic ticket (Flexible 7, Flexible 30) which are valid during the period of the temporary closure, and one or more of the closed stations are included therein, are entitled to compensation.
  • The compensation is the extension of the validity period of the existing ticket pursuant to the number of days during which the ticket was valid and the section of track was closed.
  • The compensation is to be loaded at the automatic ticket vending machines and at the ticket office up to one day after the expiry date of the ticket. The possibility of obtaining the compensation at the ticket offices and at the stations is available up to April 10, 2018. Thereafter, it will be possible to contact the customer service hotline.
