Israel Railways is continuing its track infrastructure development and upgrade work nationwide.
As part of the annual maintenance plan, infrastructure maintenance and upgrade work and the replacement of track elements will be carried out in the Haifa area.
The work will involve changes in railway service in the Haifa and northern region from 00:01 on Friday 4 September 2020 (Thursday-Friday night) through the end of service on that day.
Therefore, the Nahariya, Akko, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Hutzot Hamifratz, Hamfiratz Central, Karmiel, Ahihud, Beit She'an, Afula Rafael Eitan, Migdal Ha'Emek-Kfar Baruch, and Yokne'am-Kfar Yehoshua stations will be closed.
Friday trains on the Nahariya-Beit Yehoshua line will begin and terminate their journeys at the Haifa Central Hashmona Station, instead of the Nahariya Station.
There will be no train service on the following lines:
Karmiel-Haifa Hof Hacarmel
Beit-She'an-Atlit (the Jezreel Valley line)
Normal train service will resume on Saturday 5 September 2020.
