Train Traffic During "Chanukah"

Dear passengers,
During Hanukkah and on the dates of the various [children’s entertainment] shows, train traffic will be increased (Sunday to Thursday only), all over the country and many stations will be bolstered, including the Tel Aviv - University Station, near the Exhibition Center, where a huge inspection tent will be set up to help the multiple passengers streaming to the Festival shows at the Exhibition Center.
As part of the bolstering, which is in line with the production people of the shows and all the various entities, including the Israel Police, many special trains will be put into operation and the route of regular trains will be extended and they will stop at additional stations.

  • In light of the multiple holiday events, passengers travelling to the events will join the regular train passengers during peak hours in the morning and evening and significant loads are expected (with an emphasis on Tel Aviv - University and Tel HaShalom Stations). Passengers are advised to examine traveling during non-peak hours in the morning and evening and to aim for travel times also for the afternoon as well as to preempt the time of arrival at the stations.

Following are the details of the bolstering of the trains:
