Inauguration of the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem

Central Jerusalem is being connected to the national railway line grid

​Take note: Taking bicycles / hoverboards / scooters onto a train travelling to / from the Jerusalem - Yitzchak Navon Train Station, will not be permitted. 


We take pride in inaugurating one of the most complex and innovative engineering and technological projects in Israel: Connecting the center of Jerusalem to the national railway track grid and opening up the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem From Tuesday, 25.9.18. 


During the initial commissioning period, service will be provided between the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem and the Ben Gurion Airport Train Station, from where you will be able to continue your journey to any destination you choose. Later on we will extend the route, initially to the Hagana Station in Tel Aviv, thereafter to the Savidor Center Station in Tel Aviv and eventually to the Herzliya Station.  


Travel Benefits from the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station
  • Free travel using a Rav Kav card (personal or semi anonymous) will be permitted, up to March 24, 2019, from the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station to any destination in Israel and back, for those travelers purchasing a ticket at the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station.
    Purchasing a ticket online or at train stations other than the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station will be for full fare and loading the ticket is also possible on to an anonymous Rav Kav card.
  • As of March 23, 2019, and for a period of 6 months or until the line is connected to the Tel Aviv - HaShalom Train Station, (the chronologically earlier of the two), a discount of 50% off the price of the ticket will be granted to travelers purchasing a ticket at the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station.

Travel Benefits from the Ben Gurion Airport Train Station to the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station
  • Free travel will be permitted on a Rav Kav card, up to March 24, 2019, for travelers purchasing a ticket at the Ben Gurion Airport Train Station.
  • As of March 23, 2019, and for a period of 6 months or until the line is connected to the Tel Aviv - HaShalom Train Station, (the chronologically earlier of the two), a discount of 50% off the price of the ticket will be granted to travelers purchasing a ticket at the Ben Gurion Airport Train Station.

Pursuant to the Ministry of Transport directives, in order to benefit from a free trip to the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon Train Station, a special ticket is to be obtained at the Ben Gurion Airport ticket office. 
Travel using any other kind of ticket – obligates the payment of the full fare. Tickets may not be obtained for free on the train itself, but rather only through the ticket office here at the train station. 
Please refrain from unpleasant situations and from the payment of double the fare and obtain a suitable ticket in advance for your trip to Jerusalem.
