Central Jerusalem is being connected to the national railway line grid
We take pride in inaugurating one of the most complex and innovative engineering and technological projects in Israel: Connecting the center of Jerusalem to the national railway track grid and opening up the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem From Tuesday, 25.9.18.
During the initial commissioning period, service will be provided between the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem and the Ben Gurion Airport Train Station, from where you will be able to continue your journey to any destination you choose. Later on we will extend the route, initially to the Hagana Station in Tel Aviv, thereafter to the Savidor Center Station in Tel Aviv and eventually to the Herzliya Station.
As of the inauguration date of the line and for a 90 day period thereafter, traveling from the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem will be free of charge to any destination in Israel and back – only for those passengers purchasing a trip contract (train ticket) on a personal or semi anonymous Rav Kav card at the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem.
Purchasing a trip contract (train ticket) online or at any other station to the Yitzchak Navon Train Station in Jerusalem will be charged a fee and loading is also possible on an anonymous Rav Kav card.
