New Lod train station opens!

Have a pleasant journey at the New Lod station

Israel Railways, the Ministry of Transport, and the Lod Municipality are pleased to launch the new train station in Lod.

When will it begin?

On Sunday, 29 November 2020, trains will only operate from the new Lod station at 5 Yoseftal St. Lod.

Innovations at the site

You can go to the station on foot, by bicycle, and by public transportation.

Municipal bus lines: 15 ,13 ,11 ,9 ,6 ,3 ,2 ,1

Intercity bus lines: 464 ,461 ,460 ,239 ,22 ,21

For your convenience at the station:

570 parking spaces*
5 park-and-ride stations
1 special station for disembarking people with disabilities
55 bicycle racks

The new Lod station has a range of means to provide you with maximum service and convenience ahead of your journey:

Vending machines and tellers for the quick and easy purchase of tickets.
Convenient access to the platforms by stairs, escalators, and elevators.
Accessible design of the site for people with disabilities.

An entertainment and recreation experience before boarding the train or on the return home

Over the coming year, convenience stores, a pharmacy, food, entertainment and recreation venues will open at the station.
