Pursuant to a decision by the Ministry of Transport, railway traffic, operates from about 05:00 through about 22:00 on Sunday-Thursday only. No trains will operate on Friday and Saturday night.

  • From 22:00, trains underway will only disembark passengers. There will be no entry to stations or embarking on trains after 22:00.
  • Attention! No train boarding pass will be valid for a train departing after 22:00.

We recommend updating the departure times on the Journey Planner, the App, and the telephone service center No. *5770.
We also wish to remind you that each trip on the train requires the issue of a travel voucher, wearing a mask, and keeping the Ministry of Health Rules. 



    Closed stations:


    • Ben Gurion Airport, Kfar Saba, Hod Hasharon, Ra'anana south, Ra'anana west. Jerusalem Malha, and Jerusalem Biblical Zoo will be closed on the days of the week.
    • Train service at the Kfar Saba-Nordau, Hod Hasharon-Sokolov, Ra'anana South, and Ra'anana West stations will resume on Wednesday, February 3, 2021for more details


    Changes in train service on Sunday-Thursday


    ​Train traffic south of the Tel Aviv - HaHagana Station will be canceled between January 12, 2021 and February 3, 2021, as well as train traffic on the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon line and at the Petah Tikva, Rosh Ha’Ayin and Bne Brak stations. for more details 


    Changes on the Beer Sheva - Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan - Ra'anana line  


    • Due to track electrification work, train service will operate between the Beer Sheva stations and the Rosh Ha'Ayin North Station, with no stops at the Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, and Ra'anana stations.
    • There will be two trains every hour on the line, and one train every hour between the Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and the Rosh Ha'Ayin North Station, between 10:00 and 15:00.
    • On Sunday-Thursday, from 20:00 through 04:30, train service on the line will be divided:
      • Northern section – trains will operate between the Rosh Ha'Ayin Station to the Tel Aviv Hahagana Station until 21:00
      • Southern section – trains will operate between the Beer Sheva Station and the Ashkelon Station 
      • The Ashdod Ad Halom, Yavne West, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Bat Yam, and Holon stations will be closed

    Changes on the Binyamina-Rehovot-Ashkelon line
    From 17:30 on Sunday-Thursday, train service will begin and terminate at the Rehovot Station. The Yavne East Station will be closed


    Stations update

    • Attention! The western entrance to the Haifa Hof Hacarmel station is closed. Entry to the station is only possible via the eastern entrance. Exit from the station is possible via both the eastern and western entrances.

    • The southern entrance to the Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan Station is closed. Entry to and exit from the station is possible from the northern entrance.

    • The northern entrance to the Ramle Station is closed. Entry to and exit from the station is possible from the southern entrance.

    • The western entrance to the Binyamina Station is closed. Entry to the station is possible from the eastern entrance, and exit from the station is possible from both entrances.

    • Exit to Yigal Allon St. at the Tel Aviv Hashalom Station is only possible via the main entrance.

      Changes in train servicon evening and nighttime:


    ​Train traffic south of the Tel Aviv - HaHagana Station will be canceled between January 12, 2021 and February 3, 2021, as well as train traffic on the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon line and at the Petah Tikva, Rosh Ha’Ayin and Bne Brak stations. for more details 


    Due to the completion of the electrification infrastructure at the Herzliya Station, and the start of electrification infrastructure work as far as the area of Netanya, there will be changes in railway traffic from about 20:00 every evening through 05:00 the next morning.
    • Trains in the northern section of the line will begin and terminate their journeys at the Hadera Station, stopping at all the interim stations. Trains in the southern section of the line will begin and terminate their journeys at the Herzliya Station.
    • Increased special bus service will operate during work hours to provide a response for passengers.
      It is recommended to keep up to date about the buses' operating hours and lines at the Ministry of Transport website at www.bus.gov.il and/or at the telephone call center at *8787.
      Northbound passengers are advised to disembark at the Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and use the range of bus lines available at the adjacent 2000 Terminal.

    Attention! Israel Railways resumes its special instructions:


    • A journey by train will only be permitted with the issue of a train boarding pass in addition to the ticket. To the train boarding pass explanation page
    • Pursuant to the Ministry of Health guidelines, entry to a train station will only be permitted upon presentation of a valid train boarding pass and while wearing a face mask.
    • To avoid delays and unnecessary crowding, please be ready to show the printed or digital pass. Make sure that the digital pass is displayed on the mobile phone's screen before reaching the station.
    • Do not journey by train if you are showing symptoms of an illness!
