Further to a reduction of public transport services during the Corona crisis, the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety is allowing all passengers who have periodic monthly ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contracts, which were valid from 16.2.20 to 13.3.20 or have student travel arrangements for the academic year 2019-2020, to choose one of the following suggested alternatives:
- Passengers who purchased a ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ for the calendar month of March, valid from the 1st March until 31st March (inclusive) may choose one of the following four alternatives:
- Top up their card with an identical monthly contract purchased in March, which will be valid for 14 days.
- A 50% discount on an identical future monthly ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract.
- A discount for the purchase of a different future ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract – the rate of discount shall be 50% of the ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ monthly contract purchased for March.
- Top up an accumulated value contract – with a balance equal to one quarter of the previously purchased March ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ price.
Selection of the requested alternative will be possible until December 31, 2020.
- Passengers who purchased a flexible ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ monthly contract whose validity was between the dates of February 16 until 13 March (inclusive) may choose one of the following four alternatives:
- Top up a free ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ monthly contract identical to the previously purchased contract, which will be valid for the number of days according to valid from date of the previously purchased – as shown in the table, under the column “Number of top up days”.
- A discount for the purchase of an identical future monthly ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract – discount rate is as specified in the table under the column “Discount for purchase of ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract”.
- A discount for the purchase of a different future ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract – discount rate is as specified in the table under the column “Discount for purchase of ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ contract”.
- Top up of accumulated value an accumulated value contract – with a balance rate as specified in the table under the column “Percentage of top up price from accumulated value balance”.
Selection of the requested alternative will be possible until December 31, 2020.
- Holders of a ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ student contract for the academic year 2019-2020 may choose one of the following two alternatives:
- Extend the “extended student” profile and top up a periodic travel contract identical to the student's annual contract for another two consecutive months, i.e. until December 14, 2020.
- Top up an accumulated value contract with the balance of one month's worth of annual contract previously purchased.
Selection of the requested alternative will be possible until October 14, 2020.
- Holders of a ‘Hofshi Hodshi’ student contract for semester B 2020 may choose one of the following two alternatives:
- Extend the “extended student” profile and top up a periodic travel contract identical to the student's semester contract for another two consecutive months, i.e. until September 30, 2020.
- Top up an accumulated value contract with the balance of one month's worth of semester contract previously purchased.
Selection of the requested alternative will be possible until July 31, 2020.
Refunds can be received through Rav Kav’s top up app, Hop-On or Rav Kav Online (
https://hopon.co.il/ or
https://ravkavonline.co.il/ ). If passengers have a top up card charger or smart phone that is suitable for charging, refunds can be charged by phone. If not, refunds can be requested online and redeemed at company charging stations. Refunds can also be requested over the phone on 03-7207406.
