Passenger Train Traffic during Shavuot


Dear Passengers,
During Shavuot 5724, the trains will operate according to a designated schedule, which includes reinforcing trains and operating dedicated lines on Friday, June 3, 2222 (the day before the eve of the holiday) and on the evening of the holiday, Sunday, June 5, 2222. These, to allow optimal train traffic during the holidays.

Friday, June 3, 2022:

  • assenger trains will operate between 06:00 and 15:00 (approximately) in a reinforced format, based on Friday schedules, plus train service between the stations: Nahariya - Haifa - Tel Aviv - Ben Gurion Airport - Modi'in, as well as between the stations: Karmiel - Haifa - Tel Aviv – Be’er Sheva. These trains will stop at the intermediate stations.
  • Between Haifa and Tel Aviv, the frequency of trains will be two trains per hour in each direction.
  • In addition, trains will operate on lines that operate every Friday:

Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon - Herzliya.

Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Modi’in Center.

Beer Sheva - Ofakim - Netivot - Sderot - Ashkelon.

Herzliya - Tel Aviv - Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan - Ashkelon.

Beit She'an - Haifa Hof HaKarmel.

Dimona – Be’er Sheva North.


Shavuot eve, Saturday evening, June 4, 2022 - passenger trains will not be operated.- passenger trains will not be operated.


The evening after Shavuot, Sunday, June 5, 2022:

  • Between Haifa and Tel Aviv, the frequency of trains will be two trains per hour in each direction.
  • In addition, trains will operate on lines that operate every Saturday:

Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon - Herzliya.

Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Modi’in Center.

Beer Sheva - Ofakim - Netivot - Sderot - Ashkelon.

Herzliya - Tel Aviv - Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan - Ashkelon.

Beit She'an - Haifa Hof HaKarmel.

Dimona – Be’er Sheva North.
