Changes in railway traffic on the Beer Sheva - Ashkelon - Tel Aviv - Rosh Ha'Ayin line


Dear Passengers,
Due to electrification work on the Ashkelon line, evening work times will be temporarily expanded, and there be temporary changes in railway traffic on the Beer Sheva - Ashkelon - Tel Aviv - Rosh Ha'Ayin line between Sunday, 27 December, 2020 and Thursday, 31 December, 2020.

Below are further details:

  • Train no. 962, which departs every morning from the Netivot station (05:36), via Sderot (05:45), Ashkelon (05:58), Ashdod (06:11) etc., now begins its journey from the Yavne East station at 06:24. Passengers who take this train from the Netivot, Sderot, Ashkelon or Ashdod stations may embark on Train no. 604, which departs from Netivot at 05:47, stopping at Sderot (05:57), Ashkelon (06:12), and Ashdod (06:27).
  • The last train from the Rosh Ha'Ayin North station to the Beer Sheva Central station (train no. 653) will depart at 17:59, and stop at the following stations: Petah Tikva Segula (18:03), Petah Tikva Kiryat Arye (18:08), Bnei Brak (18:13), Tel Aviv University (18:22), Tel Aviv Savidor Central (18:33), Tel Aviv Hashalom (18:35), Tel Aviv Hahagana (18:42), Holon Junction (18:52), Holon Wolfson (18:52), Bat Yam Yoseftal (18:56), Bat Yam Komemiyut (19:00), Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan (19:03), Yavne West (19:12), Ashdod (19:28), Ashkelon (19:42), Sderot (19:57), Netivot (20:07), Ofakim (20:17), Beer Sheva North University (20:36), and the last stop at Beer Sheva Central (20:45).
    Passengers whose destination is the Beer Sheva stations and who wish to travel at later times will change trains at the Tel Aviv Savidor Central station.
  • The last train from the Beer Sheva Central station to the Rosh Ha'Ayin North station (train no.  656) will depart at 18:17 and stop at the following stations: Beer Sheva North University (18:24), Ofakim (18:39), Netivot (18:47), Sderot (18:57), Ashkelon (19:12), Ashdod (19:27), Yavne West (19:42), Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan (19:53), Bat Yam Komemiyut (19:56), Bat Yam Yoseftal (20:00), Holon Wolfson (20:05), Holon Junction (20:09), Tel Aviv Hahagana (20:13),  Tel Aviv Hashalom (20:21), Tel Aviv Savidor Central 20:30), Tel Aviv University (20:34), Bnei Brak (20:41), Petah Tikva Kiryat Arye (20:48), Petah Tikva Segula (20:48), and the last stop at the Rosh Ha'Ayin North station (20:58).
  • The train departing the Rosh Ha'Ayin North station at 18:59 (train no. 657) will terminate its journey at the Tel Aviv Hahagana station (instead of the Beer Sheva Central station).
  • Evening training operating between about 20:00-22:00 between the Ashkelon and the Beer Sheva stations (trains no. 660, 661, 664, 668) will not be operating on these days.
  • Railway operating times on these lines will resume on Sunday, 3 January 2021, and the train stations will operate as they have in recent months.
