Temporary closure of train services

​​​​​​​​​​​Temporary closure of train services between Lod Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Nahariya, Akko, Carmiel and Achihud stations. Due to work to improve tracks and railway crossings.​

Services will stop on the night between 22.3.18 and 23.3.18 at 00:01 and will end on Friday at 18:00.

Normal services between Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Central stations will resume after the Sabbath on 24.3.0.18 at approximately 20:30.

Services from Nahariya, Akko, Carmiel and Achihud stations will resume as normal after the Sabbath on 24.3.18 at approximately 23:59

 

The Hod HaSharon Sokolov to Be'er Sheva Central line will operate as normal.​

Due to work to improve tracks and railway crossings.

 

A free shuttle service will operate in both directions on Friday and after the Sabbath between Ben Gurion Airport Station and Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Central stations and from Ben Gurion Airport station to the north in both directions. Additionally, shuttle services will operate between Nahariya, Akko to Kiriyat Motzkin (See details below).

 

We would remind you that during this period there will be additional changes at Modi'in Station and Ben Gurion Airport Station due to work on  track electrification in preparation for the opening of the Tel Aviv – Jerusalem Express Line.

The main changes follow:​​​

Nahariya – Modi'in Central Line

Friday to Saturday evening (after the Sabbath), 23-24.3.18


  • ​Train services will operate in both directions between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Kiriyat Motzkin Station.

 

Nahariya – Be'er Sheva Central Line

Friday, 23.3.18


  • To and from the north, train services will operate in both directions between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Kiriyat Motzkin Station.

  • To and from the south, trains will start and end their journeys at Lod Station.


Saturday evening (after the Sabbath), 24.3.18:


  • Train services will operate in both directions between Be'er Sheva Central and Kiriyat Motzkin stations.​


Carmiel – Haifa Hof HaCarmel Line

Friday to Saturday evening (after the Sabbath), 23-24.3.18


  • Train services not operate and Carmiel and Achihud stations will be closed.

 

Tel Aviv Central – Rishon LeTzion HaRishonim Line

Friday, 23.3.18


  • Train services will operate in both directions between Lod and Rishon LeTzion HaRishonim stations.



Saturday evening (after the Sabbath), 24.3.18:


  • Train services will return to normal operation.

 


Binyamina – Ashkelon Line:

Friday, 23.3.18


  • To and from the north, train services will operate in both directions between Binyamina Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station.

  • To and from the south, trains will start and end their journeys at Lod Station.



Saturday evening (after the Sabbath), 24.3.18:


  • Train services will return to normal operation.

 


Bet Shemesh – Herziliya Line:

  • ​​Train services in both directions will operate between Bet Shemesh and Lod stations

Ben Gurion Airport Night Trains

  • Free shuttle services, operating according to the train timetable, will run between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Ben Gurion Airport Station

For your information:

  • During this period, it will not be possible to purchase a ticket for the "Quiet" carriage with reserved seating.

  • ​Customers with a season ticket (Flexible 7, Flexible 30) that is valid during the period when the segment is closed and one or more of the closed stations are included in the ticket, are entitled to compensation.The compensation is an extension of the existing season ticket's validity according to the number of days that the rail segment was closed and the ticket was valid.Compensation can be loaded using the automatic machines and at the ticket office until one day after the end of the season ticket's validity.
