Train Traffic Sukkot and Simchat Torah, 2021


Sukkot

  • On Sunday, September 19, 2021; 13th of Tishrei, 5782 – Passenger trains will operate according to the Sundays (morning hours) and Thursdays (evening hours) schedule.

  • On the eve of Sukkot, Monday, September 20, 2021; 14th of Tishrei, 5782 – Passenger trains will be operated in a bolstered format, based on Friday schedules, with the addition of train service between the following stations: Nahariya – Haifa – Tel Aviv – Ben Gurion Airport and trains will operate only on the lines detailed below:
    • Nahariya – Ben Gurion Airport – This line will be operated especially on the eve of Sukkot and trains will stop at the following stations: Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Hayim, Hutsot HaMifrats, HaMifrats Central, Haifa Center - HaShmona, Haifa - Bat Galim, Haifa - Hof HaKarmel, Atlit, Binyamina, Caesarea - Pardes Hana, Hadera - West, Netanya, Netanya - Sapir, Bet Yehoshu’a, Herzliya and all Tel Aviv stations.
      - The train that will depart at 05:39 in the morning from the Haifa Center - HaShmona station to the Ben Gurion Airport station, will commence its journey at the Haifa Center - HaShmona station (and not
      at the Nahariya station)
      - The train that will depart the Ben Gurion Airport station at 12:54, will terminate its journey at the Haifa Center - HaShmona station (and not at the Nahariya station).

    • Be’er Sheva – Herzliya.
    • Bet Shemesh – Tel Aviv - Savidor Center. 
    • Beit She'an – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel
    • Karmiel – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel.
    • Dimona – Be’er Sheva - North / University


  • The evening after Sukkot, Tuesday, September 21, 2021; 15th of Tishrei, 5722 – Passenger trains will operate according to the Saturday evenings schedules and trains will operate only on the lines detailed below:

    • Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya
    • Be’er Sheva – Herzliya
    • Bet Shemesh – Tel Aviv - Savidor Center.
    • Beit She’an – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel
    • Karmiel – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel
    • Nahariya – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel

  • In addition, a taxi service will be provided for people with reduced mobility, in accordance with prior travel arrangements, via the Israel Railways website or at the hotline center on: *5770 (Extension 2).

  • At this time (the evening after Sukkot, Wednesday, September 21, 2021), a free of charge shuttle service will be operated between the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center and Haifa - Hof HaKarmel stations, in both directions:
From the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center Station to the Haifa - Hof HaKarmel Station: 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30
From the Haifa - Hof HaKarmel Station to the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center Station: 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30


  • On the weekdays of Sukkot, September 22 - 26, 2021; 16th - 20th of Tishrei, 5782 – Passenger trains will operate according to the regular schedule:
    - On Wednesday, September 22, 2021; 16th of Tishrei, 5782, the passenger trains will be operated according to the Sunday schedule.
    - On Sunday, September 26, 2021; 20th of Tishrei, 5782, the passenger trains will operate according to the Sunday (morning hours), and Thursday (evening hours) schedule.

Simchat Torah 

    • On the eve of Simchat Torah, Monday, September 27, 2021; 21st of Tishrei, 5782 – Passenger trains will operate according to the Friday schedules, and trains will operate only on the lines detailed below:

    • Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya.
    • Be’er Sheva – Herzliya.
    • Nahariya – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel.
    • Karmiel – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel.
    • Beit She'an – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel
    • Bet Shemesh – Tel Aviv - Savidor Center

According to the of Saturday evening schedules and trains will operate only on the lines detailed below:
From the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center Station to the Haifa - Hof HaKarmel Station: 08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 09:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30 , 13:00, 13:30, 14:00
From the Haifa - Hof HaKarmel Station to the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center Station: 08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 09:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30 , 13:00, 13:30, 14:00

  • On the evening after Simchat Torah, Tuesday, September 28, 2021; 22nd of Tishrei, 5782 – the following passenger trains will be operated:
    • Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon – Herzliya.
    • Be’er Sheva – Herzliya.
    • Nahariya – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel.
    • Karmiel – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel.
    • Beit She'an – Haifa - Hof HaKarmel

  • On Wednesday, September 29, 2021; 23rd of Tishrei, 5782 - Passenger trains will operate according to the Sunday schedule.


  • It is recommended to remain updated with respect to trip times through the trip route planning option on the app and at the Railways telephone hotline on: *5770, before arriving at the stations.
  • It is mandatory to wear a mask inside the trains and in enclosed spaces at the train stations. Passengers are required to wear a mask throughout the journey and to maintain social distancing.
