Temporary changes in train traffic in the Tel Aviv and Lod areas, on Friday, June 18, 2021


As part of the annual track maintenance plan for the purpose of improving the train service and improving safety, work will be carried out to upgrade the railway track at the Tel Aviv - HaHagana station. Due to this, temporary changes in train traffic will apply only on Friday, June 18,2021:

  • Trains on the Be’er Sheva – Hertsliya line (traveling through the stations in Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, etc.) will operate only between the Be’er Sheva and Lod stations. 
  • Trains on the Beit Shemesh – Tel Aviv - Savidor Center line will operate only between the Beit Shemesh and Lod stations.
  • Tel Aviv - HaHagana, Tel Aviv - HaShalom, Tel Aviv - Savidor Center, Tel Aviv - University and Hertsliya stations will be temporarily closed to train traffic.
  • On this day, Israel Railways will operate a passenger shuttle service between Lod and the Tel Aviv - Savidor Center stations at the passenger's convenience.
    Following are details of the shuttle services:

From Lod station to Tel Aviv - Savidor Center station:
Every half hour, starting at 06:30 in the morning, the last bus will depart at 14:00.

From Tel Aviv - Savidor Center Station to Lod Station:
Every half hour, starting at 06:30 in the morning, the last bus will depart at 14:00.

  • Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday evening, June 19, 2021, with the resumption of service.

  • It is recommended to obtain updates on the travel times with respect to planning the travel route, through the app and at the Israel Railways Customer Service Center Hotline on Tel: *5770, before arriving at the stations.
  • Please note that it is still mandatory to wear a mask inside the trains and in enclosed spaces at the train stations. 
  • Passengers are obligated to wear a mask throughout the journey and to maintain social distancing.
