Temporary closure between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Lod Station

​​From Thursday, 7.12.17 at 22:00 until Friday, 8.12.17 from the start of the Sabbath and from Saturday evening, 9.12.17 until Sunday, 10.12.17 at 05:00 in the morning.​​​


  • Trains to/from north will start and end their journeys at Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station.

  • Shuttle services will be available, on Thursday, 7.12.17 between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and the following stations: Modi'in, Be'er Sheva, Bet Shemesh, Lod, Ashdod, Ashkelon and Rehovot. Please see timetable below.

  • Trains to/from south will start and end their journeys at Lod Station.

  • Shuttle services will be available, on Thursday, 7.12.17 between Lod Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station. Please see timetable below.

  • Trains on the Hod HaSharon – Be'er Sheva Central line will operate as usual. Extra trains will operate to and from Be'er Sheva Central on Friday, 8.12.17 between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Be'er Sheva Central Station in both directions and on Saturday evening, 9.12.17 between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Hod HaSharon Station.

  • Trains on the Jerusalem – Bet Shemesh – Herziliyya line will start and end their journeys at Lod Station.

  • Trains from Modi'in Station will not operate from Friday, 8.12.17 and until Sunday, 10.12.17 at 05:00.

  • Trains to Ben Gurion Airport will operate between Nahariya Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station in both directions.

  • Shuttle services will be available between Ben Gurion Airport Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central and Lod stations in both directions.


Train services will return to normal on 10.12.17, on the night between Saturday and Sunday. The first train will leave Nahariya Station at 03:13 and from Lod Station at 05:08.


The Ministry of Transport will increase services on regular bus routes.

Please note!

Compensation during closure​

Customers with a season ticket (Flexible 7, Flexible 30) that is valid during the closure period and that includes one or more of the closed stations are entitled to compensation.

Compensation is in the form of an extension to the validity period of an existing train ticket as per the number of days during which the ticket was valid and the specific segment closed.

Compensation must be added at the automatic machines or ticket offices until one day after the ticket's expiry. Compensation from ticket offices and stations will be available until 09.01.18.
