Update of the train Schedule as of December 25, 2021

Improving the service at the Ashkelon, Yavne - West, Bat Yam and Holon Stations

A new electric railway line will be operated at these stations, which will replace the diesel trains that have been in operation up till now and the railway line between these stations will now run modern and green electric trains.
Upon completion of the electrification work on this line, the frequency of trains on the line will increase and the hours of operation will be extended anew and trains will be operated on Fridays and Saturday evenings.

  • The operating times at these stations, Sunday to Thursday, will be extended from 6:00 - 00:00 (approximately).
  • On Fridays, the operating times will be 06:00 - 13:00 (approximately) and on Saturday evenings, 21:00 - 24:00, (approximately).
  • During peak hours: Three trains per hour will run through the Ashkelon, Yavne - West and Bat Yam - Yoseftal Stations, in each direction. The frequency of trains at the Holon - Wolfson, Holon Junction and Bat Yam - Komemiyut Stations will be two trains per hour, in each direction. During off peak times: Two trains will run per hour, in each direction.
  • On Fridays, the frequency of trains at the Holon and Bat Yam Stations will be two trains per hour, in each direction. At the Ashkelon and Yavne - West stations, the frequency of trains on Fridays will be one train per hour, in each direction.
  • On Saturday evenings, the frequency of trains at these stations will be on one train per hour, in each direction.

Due to operational constraints arising from the need to carry out supplementary electrification operations, as part of the new schedule that will operate from Sunday, December 26, 2021, the frequency of trains at the Bat Yam – Komemiyut, Holon - Wolfson and Holon Junction Stations will be two trains per hour, in each direction, throughout all times of operation, and not three trains every hour during peak hours, as reported. This will be in effect temporarily, until the completion of the necessary work.

At the Bat Yam - Yoseftal Station, the frequency of trains during peak hours will be three trains per hour, as published. The operating times and operating days at all these stations will be extended as planned and as published.
