Update of the train Schedule as of December 25, 2021


Improvement in the service at the Be’er Sheva, Sderot, Netivot and Ofakim Stations

Upon completion of the electrification work in the Ashkelon area, the operating hours at these stations will be extended again and service will be provided on Fridays and Saturday evenings, as well as on Sundays through Thursdays. A train will run to the center of the country, to Tel Aviv and to other destinations in the Sharon district, from these stations, without the need to change trains.

  • The operating times at these stations, on Sundays to Thursdays, will be extended from 06:00 - 00:00 (approximately).
  • On Fridays, the times of operation will be 06:00 - 13:00 (approximately) and on Saturday evenings, 21:00 - 24:00 (approximately).
  • During peak times: Two trains will operate at these stations every hour, in each direction. During off peak times: One train will be operated every hour, in each direction, in addition to the trains that are operated as usual, along the line that passes through the Kiryat Gat, Lehavim - Rahat, Lod, etc. Stations.
  • Between 06:00 in the morning and 20:00 at night, a train will operate from these stations to the towns and villages in the center of the country and along the coastal plain, in Tel Aviv and other destinations north of Tel Aviv, without the need for changing trains. This is in addition to another train during peak hours that will commence / terminate its trip at the Ashkelon station and the passengers on the train will be able to change trains at this station and continue their trips to other destinations. These trains will operate in addition to the trains operated on the Be’er Sheva – Nahariya line, which passes through the Kiryat Gat, Lehavim - Rahat, Lod, etc. Stations, the schedules of which will not change on Sundays to Thursdays.
  • On Fridays and Saturday evenings, the frequency of trains at these stations will be one train per hour, in each direction. This train will commence / terminate its trip at the Ashkelon Station and the passengers on the train will be able to change trains at this station and continue their trips to other destinations.
  • At the Be'er Sheva Stations, an additional train will operate every Friday and Saturday evening, between Be'er Sheva – Tel Aviv – Herzliya Stations, without stopping at the intermediate stations. Thus, the frequency of trains at the Be'er Sheva stations on Fridays and Saturday evenings will be two trains per hour, in each direction.
