Bolstering of train traffic and extending operating times on the Herzliya - Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon line


Dear passengers, 
Due to the expected stormy weather and the possibility of snow in the central mountains (which could lead to blockages of the main arterial roads to Jerusalem) and in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Transportation, Israel Railways will increase train traffic on the Herzliya - Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon line on Wednesday February 17, 2021 and will extend the hours of operation of the line. 

As stated, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, four additional special trains will be put into operation, in addition to the regular trains. 

Following are the details of the train trips and travel times: 

  • The train that departs at 21:30, from the Herzliya station, will pass through all Tel Aviv stations and will terminate its journey at 22:25, at the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon station. 
  • The train that departs at 22:00, from the Herzliya station, will pass through all Tel Aviv stations and will terminate its journey at 22:55, at the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon station. 
  • The train that departs at 22:02, from the Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon station, will pass through all the Tel Aviv stations and will terminate its journey at 22:57, at the Herzliya station. 
  • The train that departs at 22:32, from the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station, will pass through all the Tel Aviv stations and will terminate its journey at 23:27, at the Herzliya station. 

To remind you: 

  • Due to the Corona virus pandemic guidelines, the number of passengers on each train is limited to about 400 and, in total, 800 passengers per hour in each direction. 
  • Each trip requires the pre-ordering of a travel voucher. Passengers are also obligated to wear a mask and to maintain social distancing.
