A Rav-Kav card is a smart travel ticket which can be charged depending on your travel needs and which entitles you to discounts while you travel with public transportation. The card is personal to you, displays your name and photograph and is not transferable. You can recharge the Rav-Kav card at the station cashier and at automatic machines, and can even use it for integrated travel, by train and bus. Your Rav-Kav card is insured, so that in the case of loss, theft or malfunction , you can easily restore it.

After receiving the card, you must go to the automatic machines or one of the station cashiers and charge your card with the travel arrangement relevant for you.
The Rav-Kav card is a personal card carrying your personal information and your photograph, and it cannot be transferred to another person. If you don't have time to issue a Rav-Kav card, you can buy a regular paper magnetic card for one direction (without a discount) and you can issue the Rav-Kav card for your next trip.
You can issue an anonymous Rav-Kav card at the subscription stands located at the railway station. Please keep in mind that issuing an anonymous card is by payment only, and does not include discounts or insurance on your travel arrangements in the event of malfunction, theft or loss of the card.
